All animals should report to Animal Services, Public Health - Madison & Dane County. To report a bite or further questions, contact an Animal Services Officer at (608) 267-1989. If it is an emergency, call Police and Fire Dispatch at (608) 255-2345.
A rabies observation period is required for dogs, cats and ferrets that have bitten humans. See the
