FARMERS' MARKET MANAGER INFORMATION

The Market Manager has a vital role in assuring food safety. Working closely with the health department, the Market Manager:
  • Identifies and resolves potential public health concerns before and during the market.
  • Ensures food vendors are properly licensed.
  • Educates vendors about food safety and sanitation requirements.

Vendor meetings with Health Department staff in attendance are highly encouraged.

Managers must complete and submit the: to the Environmental Health Office 30 days prior to the opening of the market.
