Nurses at WIC
A Public Health Nurse is available at most WIC clinics to answer questions, provide information, and link clients to appropriate community resources. This service is provided at no cost.
The nurse can offer information about many things including:
- Home safety
- Planning your next pregnancy
- Car seats
- Safe sleeping
- Immunizations
- Breastfeeding support
- How to stop smoking
- Medical and Dental resources
- Other community resources
