It's Not Too Late to Protect Yourself Against the Flu
NEWS RELEASE FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH FOR MADISON AND DANE COUNTY Madison WI - January 24, 2008 - Public Health for Madison and Dane County announces that it still has flu vaccine available free for children at least 6 months of age and for all adults. According to Amanda Kita Yarbro, epidemiologist for Public Health - Madison and Dane County, "At this point, influenza activity is low in Southern Wisconsin but is expected to increase. Influenza cases are on the rise nationally." So even though we are well into the flu season, it is not too late to get vaccinated.
